Various and Sundry Farm type things
Can you spot the vicious predator?:
Our milking song, sung to the tune of 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' and sung to fiesty goats on the milking stand:
Little good goat give us milk,
Get on the stanchion and stand real still...
Eat your grain like you have a brain,
if you don't we'll cause you pain (yeah, right!)...
Tinkle Tinkle from your udder,
So we can make ice cream and butter!!!
Drifter gets upset when we talk about the 'wether' :)
This cat came with our house. We planned on disliking him. But he has won us over with his fondness for snake killing, tight-rope walking, hiking guide and general silliness.
This picture is from the day we first realized we were keeping the cat. He followed through the woods for hours and patiently posed for this picture with all of our kiddos wonderful woodland finds piled on his back.
We thus dubbed him 'Adventure Cat', A.C. for short and he continues to follow us everywhere.
If you come for a visit, he'll probably be the first farm representative you meet and if you dislike cats, he will somehow know this and follow you all the more.
Now if only he would stop tormenting Lucy aka 'our REAL cat'....
And speaking of cats that don't belong to us, this one came with our house as well and he was a PITIFUL sight. He was basically one big mat of fur from head to tail. The large mats on his sides were starting to peel away and leave scabs. Not wishing to pay a big grooming bill and being avid DIYers, We donned our leather gloves and our trusty Wahl clippers and went to town... boy he looks silly, but he's feeling Oh so much better now! And now for the before and after pictures:

Poor Onslow! We'll post pictures once his hair (brushed regularly now) grows back in normally!
